I personally like this era of Formula 1 much more than the current one. I just like how these cars look, even though they’re much more primitive. There were also alot more teams and they didn’t travel to terrible locations like Bahrain.
senna death hapen 14 days before this race, and he won in mocano only 6 times with a controversy second place in 84 when he is going pass a prost and the organization stop the race with less 50% of the laps because senna was a rokkie and run for a weak toleman! Senna forever!!
pit lane speed limits were introduced at Monaco in 94. It was set at 50kph and the drivers were to make sure they stuck to it!!! After what happened in the pitlane at Imola, it was deemed safer to install a speed limit.
Derek Bell’s comment starting at 8:55… do I understand that right, that there were no pit lane speed limits until after Imola ‘94? If so, that’s astounding. Incidentally, the pit entrance and exit here look more like an obstacle course than a pit lane, what with all the tires on either side.

It ’s rare to watch a 1994 Ferrari onboard shot on youtube, but there it is at 6:48. Marvelous V12 sound!

1994 was ESPN’s first time to show the Monaco GP live, before then it was the only Formula 1 race the U.S. did not see on tv neither live or taped.

The FIA evidently was embarrassed at they way Senna and Ratzenburger died on their watch so they had my video on Senna’s death removed.
