that´s because in the beginning of the Formula 1 chapionship,the colours of a car depends of the country of the manufacter…italian cars were red…english cars were green…german cars were grey…argentinian cars were blue and yellow…ferrari keeps using that old tradition.

Also Ferraris look better in Yellow as well, and thier offcial colour is yellow, just look at the symbol the horses backround is yellow not red…
