    They weren’t much slower if at all. These cars had less downforce, higher top speeds, and there was more overtaking.

    1996 had some of the best looking cars. Nice and wide, with slick tires. Clean, graceful looking bodywork.

    If anyone is interested about buying f1 dvds from me, then reply by clicking on my name. Then ’send message’. I sell basically every grand prix race from 1978 to 2008. Also, lots of unseen 1960’s/70s world feed races that were never seen in the UK and many other countries. For example, I have the 1975 Nurburgring (German) grand prix and many others that were never seen on British tv, before 1978. 1978 is on 17 dvds, so you can understand what range of footage I have.

    Also remember Schumacher owning everybody so hard at Spain 1996 in the rain. Schumi was a true rainmaster!!

    Williams had the superior car that year.
