yea i couldnt think how it could be better! iv been counting down the days since the last race finished haha gona try and get to one of the races this year too
Oh yeah, Schumacher back, Ferrari and Alonso, Kobayashi (overtaking master ) and Bruno Senna… Will be a season to remember I’d say Plus, a 26 car grid. Can’t get any better.
yea i agree with that too. but saying that hes done well getting this season back on track, i think its gona be one of the best with so many competetive teams
He actually suggested that. He is getting too extreme with his ideas. Drivers and teams immediately turned that idea down (thank god!). I think his time in the FOM hotseat is up. We need a younger, more in tune with the reality of F1, less inclined to move the whole sport to Asia, likely to bring in HD, personality.
yea thats also true… suppose it was mainly for overtaking out of a corner which it did do quite well a lot of the time… but pretty much evened out by the bad points at the same time
But that was the idea, it was all about tactics. Sure, they are neck and neck on paper, but there were times when Ferrari and McLaren would just nail someone using the KERS. More weight ans speed boost, to lighter without a boost. They gave the options, the (richer) teams chose it. Can’t blame the sport.
@rs0n you mean KERS.. they wont have it here they only had it in 2009 season and was one of the biggest FAILS ever in f1 lol… didnt make any difference per lap at all because of the extra weight of the system slowing the car when the extra energy wasnt being used… big waste of money
I think it is Top Gear, or at least the old format.
Top Gear ran as a magazine format from the 1970’s to 2000, before the BBC canned it and they moved to Channel Five as “Fifth Gear.” Both Jeremy Clarkson and James May were hosts on “old” Top Gear.
when you press a button on the steering wheel, the cars get a extra 80 hp for 6.2 seconds each lap. not all cars use it and for 2010 it is illegal to have

supposedly bernie wanted to introduce shortcuts that drivers could use so many times each race for an advantage? is that true or just bs?
April 29th, 2010 at 7:34 pm
Exactly. The teams and FOM are just exploring different ideas. There are bound to be some “unique” and ineffective ideas. Trial and error basically.

Its not illeagal. All the teams except williams have merely agreed not to use it. It is still legal and williams say they might use thiers.
