Jorrik records the very first Ferrari 458 Italia in the Netherlands!! It just arrived yesterday morning! We drove on a highway in the Netherlands when a Ferrari 348 past us, so we decided to follow it and we came out at Kroymans (Ferrari/Aston Martin/Maserati) in Hilversum. In the garage we saw this great Ferrari 458 Italia, we waited half an hour and than it came out for a little testride! Formula 1 car launch season has arrived! Pep and Max talk about the confirmed car launches – Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren, Renault, Sauber and Lotus. We made an error with the Mercedes date. The launch of the new livery was January 25th and we managed to put some photos in there during the editing of this video. The new car will appear February 1st. Finally i have seen it! A bunch of Ferrari 458 Italias driving in Maranello for some test drives. Two of them are driving on road, two others are loaded on few trucks and another one is the old mule based on the Ferrari F430. At the end some spy pics i have taken. Please comment the video about the car, i’m pretty curious about your opinion, in the rendering i think it doesn’t looks nice as in the real!
The Ferrari California couldn’t slow its horses even if it wanted to. Interestingly enough, the front mid-mounted V8 slightly bucks back when the prancing horse begins to lose momentum. How inglorious my mother would feel if she knew I was running through California deserts like Vikings running back Adrian Peterson through backfields, with a $197350 play toy. What can I say? It’s high performance luxury at its finest. Shame on me!
After months of speculation and spy shots the crew at Maranello have finally revealed their new mid-engined V8 powered creation to replace the F430. The all-new 458 Italia won’t be shown in public until September’s Frankfurt Motor Show the details were released early this morning. A new direct-injected 4.5-liter V8 ups the power ante it 570 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque.
