Classic Game Room HD reviews TEST DRIVE II THE DUEL for Sega Genesis from Acclaim. This driving game was originally released for the PC in 1989 and found its way to the Sega Genesis (Sega Megadrive) in 1992. It can also be played on Tandy! It was a remarkable game at the time and allowed players to drive a Ferrari F40 or a Porsche 959 against each other in a duel! The Sega Genesis version of the game added in a Lamborghini Diablo. This CGRHD review of Test Drive 2 The Duel has gameplay footage from Test Drive II The Duel recorded from Sega Mega Drive. Also features the original 5 1/4″ floppy discs for the PC version including the Supercars pack for Test Drive II, the Muscle Cars pack for Test Drive 2 and the California track extender! Wow! You know that’s hype and you want these floppy disks but you don’t got em, CGR does! The Supercar car disk extender is the best and features a Lamborghini Countach, RUF Yellow Bird, Ferrari Testarossa, Lotus Esprit and Corvette ZR1. This is an awesome driving race car video game and CGRHD loves it from back in the day… although it’s a little clunky today. The series continues today with Test Drive Unlimited published by Atari. This game is also called THE DUEL: TEST DRIVE 2 and playes on IBM PC 286 and PS/2.

Adult rated, for sure. Ferrari’s 720-hp gentleman’s racer makes no sense. Except it will make the author and 29 rich guys go ecstatic. Which makes perfect sense. Ferrari 599XX – First Drive Review www.caranddriver.com Ferrari 599XX Aerodynamics Explained – Tech Dept. www.caranddriver.com
