This isn’t the Schumacher clip that set the fastest lap on the Top Gear track. The fastest Top Gear track lap was set by Michael Schumacher driving his black FXX on their track, not the one shown here. You can see the clip elsewhere on this site. Schumacher has the only black FXX without a white stripe (as shown in the appropriate video).

There are people on the planet that would do ANYTHING to have the job of this men.

@squeech707
Schumacher did it because it was his FXX, and he is the only person whom is actually allowed to keep his FXX, dont get me wrong, you can buy an FXX, but Ferrari keep them and only allow you to drive it around their test track. Schumacher got to keep his as a retirement present.

He came back because Ross Brawn, Norbert Haug, and Dieter Zetsche asked him.
It’s his ultimate dream to race for the ultimate German car, bus, coach, and truck maker.

Michael Schumacher. What a great driver he is. Too bad he didn’t return to F1 with Ferrari.
March 31st, 2010 at 6:47 pm
this sounds wicked
March 31st, 2010 at 6:47 pm
i think thats wrong. Ferrari didn’t allow anyone else to drive this thing. so thats the reason why schumacher did it and not the stig
March 31st, 2010 at 7:40 pm
@F1ferrari09 thanks for telling us that… common sense prevails!
March 31st, 2010 at 7:59 pm
to settle this argument the fxx got 1.10.8 on the top gear track the veyron got 1.18.3 which is 8 seconds slower and also making it the fifth fastest car on the top gear track proving power is not everything to make a good car
March 31st, 2010 at 8:50 pm
351km/h
March 31st, 2010 at 9:35 pm
No one could drive a Ferrari faster. That’s why Top Gear didn’t use the real Stig
March 31st, 2010 at 10:19 pm
Whats an FXX’s top speed?
March 31st, 2010 at 10:58 pm
The sound of it revving up makes me smile =)
March 31st, 2010 at 11:11 pm
Damn, this car is fast! ;-S
March 31st, 2010 at 11:23 pm
he’s talking about the engine of the fxx
not the veyron’s
March 31st, 2010 at 11:33 pm
Actually there are a fair number of current F1 drivers that are right foot brakers. Rubens has been a right foot braker for some time. He even tried left foot braking after 93-94 when the third pedal left, and decided to go back to right foot because he felt he was losing pace on left foot. It’s not always about the time between pedal application, it sometimes comes down to an individuals feel of the pedals from one foot to the other.

WTF are you talking about? At no point anywhere is this video does it show the driver giving throttle input during braking. The one small little lift they show is on an UPshift and was probably just because he was in a lower gear, maybe trying to keep wheel spin down on the corner exit. You’re seeing things.
