She probably did get deducted for her scrunchie falling out because for one thing, I’m sure it distracted the judges. At ‘95 Worlds,the velcro strap on Dominique Moceanu’s wrist guard came unattached and she lost points on her routine because it was distracting from her routine, even though she kept going and it really didn’t hinder her performance.

Fuzzies on the mat use to bother me. I can’t imagine having all that hair in my face and trying to double a double salto, too. Mad props to Vanessa!
