Expert car trader Mike Brewer usually has £5000 to purchase and restore an iconic car but this time its a little different. Mike is after a classic Ferrari and thats going to take a bit more cash so the budget is going to be blown out of the water. Even going for the more affordable Ferrari 308 GT4 Dino the budget needs to be almost doubled. With such a risky move is this classic going to reap in the rewards or leave Mike and Edd struggling? With the car being 30 years old and handmade star mechanic Edd has his doubts but begins by knuckling down on the exterior. Only time will tell if he can get this 70s super-car back to its former glory.

@bigjonnyjon thats the whole point of the show…is that edd shows that YOU can buy the car and fix it YOURSELF . so in essence this show is for the ” normal folk “. no labor cost. its educational. mike brewer just dont wanna get his lil hands dirty…but im sure edd could haggle a car dealer down just a good as he can.

Totaly agree much better show then Top Gear, Top Gear is like a car low on fuel, running out of milage.

    Your bird is ugly.

  11. beetlekill123 Says:

Yeah we had a Red “Rosso Corsa” 348 “TB” model with “Crema Leather” inside, wasnt by far the fastest of cars but it was a Ferrari and I still think one of the most attractive ever made!

    not the most desirable ferrari

  16. bgn200 Says:

An old supercar would require a specialty mechanic or you doing the actual work yourself…and TBH not a lot of “normal” people would even consider owning an old supercar; only auto enthusiasts would even consider one at this day and age so the likelihood of someone with some mechanical knowhow owning and working on their own car is actually better than youd think.

  17. circutracer150 Says:

LMFAO!! You are so right! However, didn’t Enzo Ferrari make that car in honor of his dead son, and wasn’t it built to specially fit Enzo himself?

  18. tpaladino Says:

Yup. That’s the big difference. If they actually factored in what specialty mechanics would cost in labor for most of these projects, they’d come out double or triple the budget every time. But for normal people, its just not an option. Even if you’re good with a spanner, you’re going to need a pro for a lot of your work.

  19. steady2wheels Says:

@tpaladino they have to be of the same density and material etc

  20. bilalahmed2123 Says:

What’s up with the ghetto garage ?
In the earlier shows, they had such a nice garage. Esp when Mike was showing Ed the car, the garage looks like a depressing farm house !

  21. mannyfresh102291 Says:

thats not a ferrari, its a Fiat Dino lol

    @32silvercoins

less than 30g’s will get you a clean 348 which is my favourite. you may even find a 355 for that money.

  24. 32silvercoins Says:

@bigjonnyjon if you focus on what your doing and get a nice repair book, you would be amazed what you can do.
Now I would never try and do half the stuff Ed does but there are plenty of things normal folks can still do.

  25. bigjonnyjon Says:

normal folk don’t have their own mechanic like Edd to save on labour costs
