@bigjonnyjon if you focus on what your doing and get a nice repair book, you would be amazed what you can do.
Now I would never try and do half the stuff Ed does but there are plenty of things normal folks can still do.

less than 30g's will get you a clean 348 which is my favourite. you may even find a 355 for that money.

What's up with the ghetto garage ?
In the earlier shows, they had such a nice garage. Esp when Mike was showing Ed the car, the garage looks like a depressing farm house !

Yup. That's the big difference. If they actually factored in what specialty mechanics would cost in labor for most of these projects, they'd come out double or triple the budget every time. But for normal people, its just not an option. Even if you're good with a spanner, you're going to need a pro for a lot of your work.

LMFAO!! You are so right! However, didn't Enzo Ferrari make that car in honor of his dead son, and wasn't it built to specially fit Enzo himself?

An old supercar would require a specialty mechanic or you doing the actual work yourself...and TBH not a lot of "normal" people would even consider owning an old supercar; only auto enthusiasts would even consider one at this day and age so the likelihood of someone with some mechanical knowhow owning and working on their own car is actually better than youd think.
